AUDITIONS

Our Lady By The Beach Over The Sea
devised and directed by Joe Woodward with music by Damien Foley

The production will utilize dramatic dialogue, poetic text and Butoh dance. 

AUDITIONS and EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST in the new Shadow House PITS production (www.shadowhousepits.com.au). It is seeking very highly motivated and energetic people in the following capacities: 

• Production / Marketing Managerable to fund raise and source a professional presentation
• Designer able to work closely with the director
• Stage Manager 
• Actor/ Dancers with some Butoh experience
• Male and female actors to portray characters aged 60+ 
• Male and female actors to portray characters aged late teens.

The production will be a stylish thriller with psychological, political and spiritual themes. Interested people will need to:

• be available over extensive periods of time
• take on challenging material
• tolerate ambiguity
• work collaboratively on development of the work
• be an excellent team worker
• be at least 18 years of age
• display a willingness to face the mirror of one's soul
• have experience of Butoh or/and other forms of experimental theatre (an advantage).
